Dear Brothers and Sisters:

The Annual IBEW Motorcycle Ride will take place in Charleston, West Virginia,

beginning Saturday July 21, 2012

. This year’s ride is called, The IBEW New River

Gorge Ride. Last year, we rode through the historic areas of Pennsylvania and

Maryland and this year we will ride through the mountains and historic areas of

Charleston, West Virginia.

The IBEW New River Gorge Ride will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday,

July 21, 2012. The registration fee is $25.00, per participant. You may register online

by visiting

www.ibew.org., and clicking on IBEW New River Gorge Ride. Register

early as the IBEW portion of the ride will be limited.

Sign in will be held Friday, July 20, 2012, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and

Saturday, July 21, 2012, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Ramada Inn Charleston

Downtown, located at 600 Kanawha Blvd. East, Charleston, West Virginia 25301. The

Ramada Inn will serve as the starting point of the ride.

Please contact the Ramada Inn Charleston Downtown for reservations, at

(304) 344-4092, and inform them that you are with the International Brotherhood of

Electrical Workers or the IBEW. The IBEW has a block of rooms available on a firstcome,

first-served basis, with a cutoff date of June 22, 2012. The room rate is $79.00,

plus tax, per night, and there is a $3.00, fee for parking per day.
